The Vancouver Sun’s A Taste of the Okanagan presented by the Wines of British Columbia begins the two-day wine and food extravaganza at the Watermark Beach Resort in Osoyoos.

Over the two days, Sun wine writer Anthony Gismondi, cheese expert Allison Spurrell and notable winemakers and winery owners will educate and mingle with 124 guests during six events that range from an in-vineyard tour, lakeside reception, intimate tasting seminars and a gala dinner.

The events have been designed to give the guests access to

some of the most knowledgeable and celebrated wine experts in B.C’s premiere wine region. Guests include Christine Coletta, owner and Michael Bartier, head winemaker from Okanagan Crush Pad; John Skinner the owner of Painted Rock Estate Winery, Ezra Cipes, CEO of Summerhill Pyramid Winery; Mason Spink, winemaker for See Ya Later Ranch; Rob Summers, winemaker for Hester Creek Estate Winery; Sandra Oldfield, CEO and winemaker for Tinhorn Creek Vineyards; Pascal Madevon, winemaker for Osoyoos Larose; Randy Picton, winemaker for Nk’Mip Cellars and Adrian Cassini of Cassini Cellars.
